San Pedro Springs Park
This staple of the San Antonio area has a pool that is fed by an underwater spring. They have a garden and playground as well. The event gazebo is available to rent for $120 on the weekends and $60 during the week. Use this link to rent the gazebos. According to their website, this is the 2nd oldest park in the country, after the Boston Commons.

Brackenridge Park
This historic riverside park has trails, play areas, a mini train ride, athletic fields, and of course picnic areas. You can rent the fields or pavilion using this link. They have 3 options for pavilion rentals, all open air but covered. They range from $35, for the most expensive, on the weekends to half that during the week.

Hemisfair

Acequia Park
A short 5 minute drive south of downtown sits this park with ample grilling and picnic areas. All picnic areas are first come, first serve but alcohol is prohibited in this park. They also have a 1 mile trail and a paddle area for swimming, but no stand up boards.

Cathedral Rock Park
A quick 5 minute ride from downtown is this park with plenty of trees, walking/cycling trails, playgrounds, picnic tables, and a pavilion. Just as with Acequia Park, amenities are first come, first serve and no alcohol is allowed.
